Christmas Poem

Christmas
Lights in Heaven
At Christmas time we trim our tree With gifts and candy canes And go for joyful sleigh rides Down sparkling snowfilled lanes.We fill our homes with tinsel Our hearts with Christmas cheer We're all a little nicer At this lovely time of year..Stores are filled with shoppers Streets are trimmed in greenCarolers on each corner Tis' quite a lovely scene..But we cannot know the beautyThe splendor or the love Of Christmas time in heaven With our Saviour up above..The light that shines from Jesus Stands out from all the rest Of all the Christmas time displays His is by far the best..Like diamonds shining in the sun You'll find His flaming light Like a million candles burning In the middle of the night..The colors found in heaven Have such a wondrous glow And you'll find a world of beauty Where the golden rivers flow..There won't be gifts or mistletoe Nor stately Christmas tree But the throne of God will glistenWith the Blessed Trinity..

Christmas Thoughts

Some people think of Christmas
As sleigh rides in the cold
A tree that glistens of tinsel
And decorations of silver and gold.

Some people think of Christmas
As stockings dressed in red
A crackling glowing fireplace
And a warm and cozy bed.

Some people think of Christmas
As faces filled with glee
Sharing stories, fun and laughter
And gathering 'round the tree.

Some people think of Christmas
As gifts wrapped up in blue
Writing letters to their loved ones
And Christmas caroling too.

Some people think of Christmas
As snow falling on the ground
The hustle and bustle of shoppers
And the joy that's spread around.

Some people think of Christmas
As Christ on Christmas day
And families joined together
With heads bowed down to pray.

Some people think of Christmas
As the Lord who dwells above
Who sent His son to die for us
And gave the gift of love.

I has started this blog and Iam still learning about writing blogs. I figured it is about whatever you want it to be. For me I just want to let people know about my life.
I know in three days Christmas will be here. When we were young we never had a tree. Grandma never would let us put up a tree. I loved the spirit of christmas. We never got anything for christmas. I remember one year in school in the second grade we drew names in class. I was excited because the kid who got my name told me she was getting me a barbie doll. I will never forget the day of the Christmas party at school. She had told me the entire week about my gift and she knew how I wanted a barbie doll. When I opened my gift the doll was naked and was missing a arm and leg, it's hair was cut in short and long pieces.

She laughed and walked away with her high class friends. I took the doll home and played with it anyway. I dressed that doll up and made her look beauitful. Me and my sisters talk about that doll story today and I just laugh about it now. I learned at a young age kids were cruel as they still are today.
My Christmas today is about helping others in different ways. I am not rich and money don't make you happy but it helps you pay bills and so on. God has been good to me.

So why be fake or so proud that you think you are better then anyone. In God's eyes we are human with lots of problems.

What a day, it has been a really hot day with heat above 101 degrees." Working on things such as beans and so on for the winter putting away food like squirrels do except they save nuts." I had last wrote about my endurance with cancer and writing books. I know life is not a piece of cake, life is hard sometimes and most of the time we struggle." As we get older and look back on our younger days in life, it really made me think how things have changed. I am no longer the spunky person I used to be. We have to take life a little slower and take care of our self, we have one body and we what we do with it will come back and haunt us later." When I was a small child there were so many things I never thought about, I was always told to stay outside and play all day." We could never eat till the elders were finished first at the table." We waited till everyone had finished eating and we would eat what ever was left over." Time changes everything and everyone, how many times we change in life is a mystery. There was a time I ran into a friend from years ago and I remembered her as a nice polite woman, but that day I seen her she was not the same, she had changed to a entire different person. She was very snotty and rude to me as though she never wanted to talk to me. Yes I wondered about that for several years and later found out she had lost her son in an accident." We all come to understand things make some of us change in life, things that rip our hearts out and we are never the same again. You never know what has happened in other peoples life, you cannot read a book by its cover. It all makes sense to me and I hope this makes sense to you, as you see I have a learning disability and have all my life. I have done well to keep it hid but other people see it in my writing. I struggle but will never give up." No one should give up no matter what you struggle with in life we have to keep pressing on.
