Chapter 1 TATTOO GRANNY--BOOK
COPYRIGHT 2011
Jessie Sorrell was a seventeen-year-old boy who loved his Granny more
than any kid could imagine. Granny Sublet was a retired nurse. She was
married over fifty years to her long-time sweetheart, Herb Sublet, who passed
away from cancer several years earlier. They both loved their grandson Jessie,
who was a bit of a grandma‘s boy.
Granny was a petite woman with a big character who always wore her
grey hair twisted on top of her head. She was a prankster and loved to laugh,
but more important, she wanted her grandson to always care about the elderly.
She was well loved in her small community and an advocate for seniors. She
had a heart of gold.
Jessie was a caring, considerate young man who had brownish-blonde
hair and a stocky, muscular frame. He was generous and loved doing volunteer
work; he would often go to the local nursing homes to play Bingo with the
elderly. Jessie and his Granny were together every day while he was growing
up. His friends would spend nights at her house. Growing up with a Granny
who was so full of love and laughter made Jessie‘s childhood a truly wonderful
time.
Time slipped away and suddenly Jessie had grown up. He graduated
high school, worked at the Happy Pappy Pizza Parlor, and had plans to go to
college to become a social worker to help the elderly. He had one special dream
and that was go to go to Hawaii to watch the hula girl‘s dance.
When Jessie turned eighteen, his plan was to get a tattoo of a hula girl
on his arm. He had been saving money to pay for the tattoo for a long time, and
it was to be his .coming of age. birthday present to himself.
The day of Jessie‘s eighteenth birthday, Granny called to wish him happy
birthday, and to ask him to stop by her house. She had a special gift for him.
He had all the best intentions to stop at his Granny‘s first, but he got another
phone call before he left his house. His friend Andy asked him to stop over at
his house because he and his twin brother, Markus, had a gift for him.
As he was leaving, Jessie wrote his mom and dad a note telling them that
he was going to his Granny‘s. He then grabbed the keys to his 1980 Comprise
station wagon and off he went.
Andy and Markus Breathalyzer were Jessie‘s best friends. They were
both pranksters and Jessie had to be on his toes around them.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN SINCE JESSIE NEVER WENT TO HIS GRANDMA'S HOUSE FIRST?
THIS LITTLE BOOK IS A HEART FELT STORY...WHAT WILL HE FIND WHEN JESSIE DOES FINALLY GET TO THIS GRANDMA'S HOUSE?

Christmas Poem

Christmas
Lights in Heaven
At Christmas time we trim our tree With gifts and candy canes And go for joyful sleigh rides Down sparkling snowfilled lanes. We fill our homes with tinsel Our hearts with Christmas cheer We're all a little nicer At this lovely time of year..Stores are filled with shoppers Streets are trimmed in greenCarolers on each corner Tis' quite a lovely scene..But we cannot know the beautyThe splendor or the love Of Christmas time in heaven With our Saviour up above..The light that shines from Jesus Stands out from all the rest Of all the Christmas time displays His is by far the best..Like diamonds shining in the sun You'll find His flaming light Like a million candles burning In the middle of the night..The colors found in heaven Have such a wondrous glow And you'll find a world of beauty Where the golden rivers flow..There won't be gifts or mistletoe Nor stately Christmas tree But the throne of God will glistenWith the Blessed Trinity..

I AM NOT PERFECT, MY LIFE, IN BITS AND PIECES

Hello,
How about a chat with me, yes me, first of all I want to tell you a bit about myself.
I live in Kentucky in a small town called Menifee, population very small, let's keep it that way."
My life has been filled with ups and downs since I was a child, but whose has'nt. Been there done that as alot of us would say, filled with many mistakes, and yes I have tried to learn from it all. During my battle with cancer in 2000 and later in 2001 another surgery and again in 2004 another illness, and yes again in 2008, 2009 more surgeries. I felt like if I had one more surgery I would rather just be dead, yes die is what I told my doctor." However in between all the surgeries I was going to college to study to become a social worker, which by the time I graduated at the end of 2007, like I mentioned two more surgeries." I become more ill after each surgery, later found out I had fibromyagia which is very painful." I suffer with it to a point I can barely walk each morning." All my hopes and dreams of becoming a social worker went down the drain, I was not getting any younger at the brink of nearly 50 years old." It never happened, NO job for me, I was upset over that part more than my sickness." It made me depressed.
I decieded to write a book called Tattoo granny during 2009, during that time of writing I became ill and found out I had a bowel osbstruction, nearly died."

I was rushed to the hospital and had another surgery, my husband who was the one who is my rock, the one who pushed me to go to the hospital or I would not be sitting here writing about my life today."

We are human's and I came to know that I can die." I stop pushing myself as hard as I had been doing in the past."
My first book was finished but not without mistakes, and yes it was published with all those mistakes with grammar errors and so on, just shows me I am not perfect, but who is? I published the book with a company that was free, but later found out I made a horribe mistake, but again I lived and learned, one thing was the contract was 7 yrs to long, and I made NO money." Still today the book is just there as I call it, yes at that company who now has it all over the world without my permission, but again unless you have money to get out of the contract and someone to help you, what was I to do?

Now the book has been out going on three years and I have bought my own from the company when ever they would have buy one get five free."
I set up a fanpage and started giving them to friends for feedback only, yes, free due to the poor editing."

Now see how I am , I go from telling you about my life and get all side tracked, yep that is another part of my life since the surgeries, my memory and staying focused."
I am not perfect and never will be, but I am honest and a down to earth person, simple country girl with a good husband who still stands beside me, he is my best friend."

I will be back with more if you want to read about me and everything else going on in my life as my own world turns.
Be Blessed."
